Every year the Star club sponsors a charity to raise funds for. The last two years charities were Guide Dogs and Macmilan nurses, with almost £6000 being donated. Many thanks are due to the Ladies Darts team and Pendle Ladies Dart League for their valiant efforts.

This years chosen charity is Lancashire Air Ambulance which, anybody who has had dealings with will tell you, provide a magnificent service.
